I've only seen the blue in real life once. It was nice, but a bit underwhelming versus what I imagined. It's hit or miss in pictures, too. Some pictures make it look so unbelievably stunning, while others are very "blah" and look like it could be a Citizen chronograph of some sort.
The 116509 "ghost" grey dial with black subdials is probably the better looking overall of the two to me, but the blue is likely the better "investment" piece if that matters to you.

If you could stretch up to get a 126509 version, I think that looks better than the 116509.
