Thanks for the reply and the good wishes. Genetic Heart stuff coming to light but I’m good.

Im sorry to read about the health challenges. Huge congrats on your first beautiful Rolex. Wear it in good health never seemed so appropriate as now!

Congratulations. Unfortunately I haven’t received a discount on a Rolex from the AD in 9 years. I’d be surprised if some smaller ADs aren’t on the verge of considering it for slow moving PM and ladies stuff but certainly not on a DJ Wimbledon.

Enjoy the experience.

If you're feeling great - emote.
It never hurts to ham it up with them about how elated you feel. "I'm ready for my big moment!"

This releases them to add anything they wish to make the whole experience memorable.

If your wife is up for it, ask to video the entire "opening and delivery experience" to be able to re-live it down the road.

This is the best way to engage the staff in playing it large and maybe break loose some of the better SWAG.

Great advice! A good AD enjoys making the experience special for you.
Please take pics when you pick it up and share with us. Congrats again. I’m excited for you.

I feel your pain. Those darn calls can come at some pretty inopportune times.

If you really want the watch, however, it's a no brainer, IMO.

Big congrats to you on the new watch. This model and dial combo is such an eye catcher.

I hope your health is on the up.

Would love to see some pics once you've spent your hard earned...

Congratulations on your Wimbledon DJ41! The first Rolex is always very exciting, especially at an AD. Unfortunately, as mentioned by others, there are no more discounts due to super high demand. They might offer a hat or something if you drop a subtle hint. Enjoy your wonderful watch it good health.

Love this. Thank you. I took lots of photos. Never thought to take a video. I wish I had read this first because that is a great idea.
