116400gv
My First purchased by me and I still have it.
I really wanted something other than a Sub that had great history behind (from the Rolex line) and a little flare :) |

2015 Datejust 116300 SSO- love it, wear it every day...
The reason I picked this one? I love simple, elegant things- and this one pretty much flies under the radar, unless I am wearing the thousand dollar suit and people are looking at that kind of thing, or a really sharp salesman is qualifying me as I am walking up to him... This goes equally with jeans and boots having coffee, or Brooks Brothers on Wall Street... |

Explorer II 42mm, but it was too large. I recently sold that watch and bought a Daytona 116520.

A new 5513 from an AD when I started scuba in the fall of 1967.
It was $160 plus sales tax. One of my daughters has it now. She was born that year. |

I bought my first a 16710 GMT2 coke in 1997, I'd been looking for a while and as soon as I tried it on I knew I had to have it.I still have it and still love itSince then I've added a Sub 114060 in 2012 and 116710 BLNR in 2015 I don't think I'll be getting any more for a while now

I'm going to do my best to get it out of the safe place and onto my wrist tomorrow.

A Black dial Daytona back in 2006. Friend bought it, wore it for around 6 months and one day said he needed money, and quick. He had paid around Ł4000 for it so thats what I gave him, within half hour of asking me - I had no idea what I had bought.
Fast forward 4 Years and the financial explosion it was about the only thing I had left when I returned to the UK and I had to sell it. Made around 50% profit on it and it ensured I had some petty cash until things picked up - Which fortunately they did :) |

I'm wearing it now. Got to the bank in time to get it out.
I always fall in love all over again when I put it on. By the way, it'll be 7 years old this September.
