Rolex will issue a replacement warranty card. It can be done by the original owner thru the AD they bought it from. AD has to provide a copy of the sales receipt with the request.

Yes. No more OCD threads about watch / purchase related questions.
Guess we might as well delete the forum. I think a fair tease is ok for questions about minutiae...but no question should be out of bounds. Check that. Unless the question is about average discounts or new price increases. |

Wow. Can't say I'm shocked by some of these responses as they seem to be more and more common of late on all types of threads. I understand to some it may seem a silly question but it was important to the OP. People spend their hard earned money and want a perfect experience. I too have bought a new Rolex at an AD and my card looked like it was filled out by a 4-year-old. Did it ruin the experience for me- no. Was it peculiar to say the least- yes.
To compare, when I bought my new Patek from the AD they had my papers sent to a professional calligrapher to fill out. I think attention to detail is important (possibly because I work in a field where perfection is expected/ necessary on a daily basis) especially on an item of this value. At a minimum, I would think an AD should have the person with the best penmanship fill out the cards or offer the purchaser the opportunity. |

Trade the watch in to davidsw on a bnib with blank card, it may cost you a few thousand but you will get what you seek in the end. Problem solved

I can sort of relate to this actually, but maybe I have issues. My warranty card for the SD4000 I bought this week was filled out 31/10/16 when the card says the format should be DD/MM/YYYY, therefore 31/10/2016. Very minor, but as a first time Rolex buyer I too am looking for a perfect experience! I would rather have filled out the card myself....
