My first and only is a 114060 and it was a long-awaited special purchase for me.

It will likely be my only Rolex for a long time as the prices keep creeping up and the other models that I'm interested in are all out of my price range. Mix that with a growing family and other interests means it'll be a long time before I get another.

I've had it for a few years and I love it as much as the day I got it.

Hey Sager! Been a while fella. Hope you’re well? WUS has become so dull and quiet. I’m loving it on here.

Yep I’ve had the PO for 7 years now. Just got it back from a service in Switzerland. It’s a beauty but I feel it wears too big for my tastes now.

Nothing wrong with just one! I love reading stories about guys that wore that one special watch for 30 years, something very cool about that.

I have multiple but I admire those that have just one that tells a life story.

I had two Rolexes for many years but for the past year or so have had just one. My DJ41 has made me the happiest of all the ones I've owned. I might add a Sub someday but no definite plans at the moment.

I don't have the personality to have just one of anything. Maybe it's a separation anxiety issue or something...

As a guitarist, I always wanted to be the Eddie Van Halen or the Stevie Ray Vaughan, who were mostly associated with a single, identifiable guitar. But variety is the spice of life.

I have my one GMT II, but rotate in a couple of Tudors about 15-20% of the time. I think I'd like another Rolex someday(maybe a DJ), but it's tough to imagine loving something as much as this first one.

My thing is to buy a watch and wear it exclusively until I buy the next one, then repeat. I'm on my first rolex (z-blue milgauss) and I seldom wear anything else. I'm saving for GMT and I'm not sure if I'll start rotating at that point or wear the GMT exclusively until something else catches my eye. But I've kept everything dating back to fossils and citizens.

I did Seamasters for 5-7 years at a time and I too began to feel they wore large. Even on my 7 3/4” wrist I began to feel my PO had too much wrist presence. Didn’t think a 40mm watch would be big enough, but I was wrong. Loving my 16710 BLRO!

For now, yes i exclusively wear Rolex. Nothing else looks right on my tiny wrist. I honestly can respect other brands, but I would not wear them.

Same for me! I research other watches all the time but never pull the trigger because I can’t bear the thought of not wearing my EXII.

Starting to worry about the withdrawals when it has to be serviced. Plus, I have two kids and only one watch so I’m feeling like I’ll have to get something else here eventually.

I’m new to Rolex. I just have the GMT BLNR Batman.

If I could only have one Rolex, it would definitely be a GMT Master II.

I do like the Oyster Perpetual, the Air King and the Datejust.

First world problems, I reckon.

I own two watches over the 10K price point. This Rolex and my Cartier. I also have a few others under the 5K price point. I’ve decided that since I can only wear one at a time, I really don’t need anymore watches. This Rolex (the latest purchase) will be my last watch purchase and my only Rolex.

Only my black 16570. But I change the strap on it twice or three times a week.

I think about buying other Rolexes all the time, but at the point in the fantasy where I know I’ll have to take one Rolex off and have it stop in the dark, it ceases to make sense somehow. I can’t explain it but that’s where my brain says ‘what’s the point?’

My brother always loved sports cars, and at one stage had two Ferraris two Mercs and a Porsche as well. I could never understand it as the nicest one just sat in the garage where he’d polish it once every few months, and drive it maybe twice a year.

He’s sold them all except the Porsche now. And admittedly he’s not lost a £ on the whole venture and got to enjoy them if not all at once, then just the fact of them. Sitting out there in the drive. But I’m the same with the idea of a fleet of Rolexes. Somehow for me it just doesn’t make sense just so I can handle them. It would make me even more obsessed with this brand than I already am.

So just one. But I don’t count out the idea of changing that one.

I agreed. I enjoy to have my only watch. And a Sub and a cheap Casio is all I need.

I should add that I have my trusty Omega Seamaster (the dress one rather than the dive one) for when the Rolex is being serviced, and have no problems at all with that stopped in the dark cupboard.
So maybe what I need is a watch winder! And less of a conscience. Oh, and a load more disposable income would help. Then I’d hoover up all the Rolexes I want. And there are many....

I totally agree. Just traded in my Air King for a GMT ceramic in November. I wear it daily.

I've trimmed down to 2 Rolex's for me, wife has 1 too, and then an IWC and vintage Omega.
With that said, my 16610 has and will continue to get 99% wrist time. It's just perfect for me.

I wear this little workhorse every day, and it shows. I've got a Moonwatch too, but the crystal is way soft.

Just one. 1968 GMT, spent 50 years with the first owner, now with me.

No reason to wear anything else.

First, I want to live another 49 years. But after that, I want my son to be able to say the same thing as you.

That, my friend, is freakin awesome. Bigtime congrats.
