Does anyone own/wear only one Rolex?

I only own one Rolex. Why? Mainly because I don’t have a lot of disposable to spend a lot on watches. :^)

I decided a couple of years ago to save a little bit each month to put towards the Rolex fund. After several months, I had enough to pay for my new OP!! I don’t regret buying this watch and it has been with me everyday whether it’s in the office, in the woods, or fishing on the river. I don’t baby it (too much!) and plan to hold onto it for a lifetime.

Is there anyone else out there who only owns or wears ONE watch everyday? If so, let’s see it!

I did in my early collecting days. However I soon discovered the need for #2 when I sent my first out for service.

I own only one. It's a SubC. I'm the type that really doesn't like having to decide which watch to wear...so I only have the one.

I could have one Rolex but not one watch, three is my minimum.

I will wear my Submariner 14060M everyday until I give it to my son.
I will buy another “one watch” at that time.

Only 1 for me. Have a bunch of watches cause I think I want variety but I always wear the same one with the exception of when I travel to another country.

14060m almost every day. I do have other watches, but I’m a one watch guy 95% of the time.

I wore a DJ every day (see sig) for 31 years. I honestly didn’t know people would buy more than one Rolex. I felt fortunate to have the one. Imagine that!

Got a Daytona a little over a year ago and wear that at least 29 out of 30 days.

There are a lot of great and interesting watches out there and this forum really makes you aware of it. It’s up to you whether you want a collection or just appreciate one (or two) fine watches.

Just one for me. I have a couple Seikos and a MKII Hawkinge as well, but only one Rolex and I’ve worn it every day since I got it 9 months ago.

Also, that 36mm steel dial OP was a watch I considered too, if I had a smaller wrist I might have gone that way, great choice!

Won’t need, desire, nor can afford another Rolex for some time.

Funny thing is that does not bother me at all.

Edit: I have 3 other watches that cost 5 factors cheaper. Having said that I have to make myself work them in to the roatation. Can’t get it off the wrist

Sub C is the only one for me at the moment.

I was actually thinking of buying a cheaper one but after more thought I am going to hold off.

When the house is paid off and kids colleges are funded then the collection will grow.

Ditto.
It always starts with one

Then I had up to six at one stage before I realized you can't have a real favourite and it was all getting a little too ridiculous for me.

After I picked up the MK II DSSD, nothing else got any wrist time what so ever. So they all had to go except the DSSD.
Then I added the JC, which in a way is for all intents and purposes still making it a one watch scenario
At least, that's what I keep telling myself anyway

If you're only going to have one, that's a nice one to have.

For the past 2 years I've had just the one. Found during the 3 years that I had 2, the other one got no wrist time and just sat in it's box. Remember, it's quality, and not quantity that counts. Best to have one heck of a watch rather than 5 mid-tier $hitters.

Currently, just one, a DJ41 with gold fluted bezel, black dial, and jubilee bracelet, covers all my bases!

Only one Rolex here! 116500

And as versatile as it is, will probably stay that way.

I owned one Rolex only for about one year after I bought my first Rolex in 2008.

I still have it, too.
