Oh they get them, I'm sure of it. There are a lot of VIP's that spend a lot if money in this area so I'm pretty sure they are getting them before anyone on the lists. The AD Monday told me pretty much exactly that. Hard to find watches are going to big spenders first

It makes you wonder what it takes to be a VIP? I spent close to $100K over the past year and a half, obviously I don't still have all of them as my honey moon phase quickly fades, but I would think that is a fair amount and would certainly move me to the top or closer to the top of any such "list".

The AD I spoke with quoted the number $300,000.00 believe it or not. It wasn't like I asked what the threshold was to get on the VIP list but she offered up that number in passing which makes me think there is some validity to that being the number at that particular store that gets you the special treatment. She said she hates the policy and to her it's a "rich get richer" type of system.

That is insane and crazy. How about display your watches in the case and people with money that want one will come in and make a purchase. I am sure there will be no shortage of takers. Anyone that runs a normal business understands this. And then when you sell one you get another. I was talking to an AD the other day who said they send one Sub (ND) at a time. They won't send another until the warranty card for one is activated. If true, I could understand that system. It makes more sense then someone who owns a business not knowing if or when they will get a particular piece.
