Stunning. I’m a huge fan of this reference. I also like the blue dial YM40. Both are really beautiful watches. The way that those dials play with the light when it hits them is mesmerizing.

Thank you. Had the strap hand made by a guy I found after searching a long time. This one is ostrich on the outside and Teju lizard on the inside. Instantly makes this a different (and to me better) watch. I hated hated hated that rubber ‘Oysterflex’ strap. I thought it cheapened this watch. Now it feels and looks like a stunner. I had D9 make a strap for one of my old Panerai’s and I can attest to their quality - great craftsmanship and worth the money and lead time.

Ended up getting a custom alligator strap with red stitching for my blue YM40. I will have to see how the quality fares over time.

Usually not a wait list, but also not a TON of stock coming through the ADs, as it is still a SS Rolex sports watch. Like others said before, just have to let the AD know and then wait for one to arrive. I have been waiting on a 126622 Rhodium since around Mother's Day, and don't anticipate it being a 6-month to a year sort of wait...of course this COVID BS throws everything off somewhat...
