The SD43 is a stunning watch. Its the diver I would have bought 10 years ago had it been an option. I've been chasing the 'perfect diver' (for me anyway) and I have to say the SD43 ticks all the right boxes. Chance to buy at MSRP - can't go wrong.

We've gone from which Rolex for investment to "shall I wait for prices to drop" within weeks. This too shall pass.

I’m with others that suggest get it now at MSRP. It’s a great watch, and if you want it then MSRP isn’t unreasonable. Get it now and begin the enjoyment!
In general, though, it’s hard to envision prices don’t continue to pull back some if we remain in this global economic crisis much longer. We’ve already seen most Rolex models prices drop some in the past month or so, and/or models slower to move than they were prior. |

If you want it, get it as MSRP and get a brand new watch with your name on the card.
I think you are correct and secondary prices are going to be a bit lower in the short term, but not enough to warrant waiting to save a small amount of money on a pre owned watch. Honestly that's kind of how buying a Rolex should be, in my opinion. As in, if you don't like it, you probably won't lose much selling it later. Not people buying watches the don't like or want because they are hard to get and they can make a quick couple thousand flipping it. |

Just to be clear, no new Rolexes will ever be below MSRP. That’s not the OP’s question exactly. The SD43 is a fave of those wanting larger Rolex SS models. So, I would predict that you’re never going to see the SD43 truly available on the secondary, let alone below MSRP. You can wait, but you’re best bet is MSRP if you can get it.

Go buy it now. Not being negative or preaching doom and gloom but no point thinking I wish I had bought that watch as they are attaching a ventilator to you.....

MSRP is fine. I would NOT pay over MSRP for any of these watches though.

At MSRP, if you really want it. Try to negotiate. Times are tough at the moment. Could be at your advantage.

If you like the watch then buy it at MSRP. It's not a rip off

I’ll be watching this one...if the SD43 price dips below msrp I’l probably end up picking it up again to pair with my BLRO...I miss it.

I would hold, given the uncertainly of economy.
