I will be astonished if there’s a liquid market for these at 350k, that would be insane. I’m sure some dealers will try but the market is cold af right now and people are allergic to paying 3x plus for in production watches let alone that markup.

Agreed. 350k maybe back in 2021. I think it’s opening price could be insane at around 200k, but I bet it settles closer to 125-150k. Can’t wait for someone to bump this in a year to tell me how poorly it aged. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To be clear, my $350k number is opening hype numbers for the first couple of months. I do not mean to suggest it's going to stay there longer term. That said, I still see it settling $175 to $200k. I truly think there is just way too much demand for this one and there are very deep ties to the Daytona legacy. You're also going to have people that purely speculate on this model as well and buy under the belief that there will be somebody there down the line to offer them more.

Congrats OP!
On a separate note, I am probably one of the few who isn’t that enthusiastic about this particular model. While it’s nice, some of the photos I’ve seen on Hodinkee and other websites make me think that it’s too similar to a black dial SS Daytona. It will be rarer but that’s about it. |

Before more congrats notes, i want to clarify it was a joke, it was never offered to me for me to reject. I couldn’t purchase it even if i wanted it.
Just wanted to share how it looks in the flesh |

Question for you. Was it an exhibition model or real deal for sale?

I doubt it’s an exhibition model sitting in the case. My AD often keeps the hardest of the hard to get watches in the back for a short period of time to show VIP customers before they decide which VVIP customer gets to buy it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
