They ship watches out for people to look at? No wonder their prices are so high!

(The local Watchfinder, unrelated to Watchfinder in UK did lend me a FPJ Centigraphe for 3 days no obligation which I thought was amazing customer service.)

they move them from store to store. However you could buy online and return, just like when you order shoes that dont fit.

I get it, but isn’t it a little like used car buying. Those with loads and a reputation can sell a little higher. A private seller can have a crack, but will likely have issues (transactional at that price being one). They have a place.

Don’t expect a great price on selling to them. The last three I have sold to them I have got the lower of the estimate and twice for young watches. The point is, I probably couldn’t sell it myself and they know it.

They are a business who entirely know the mind set of flippers and buyers. Thus despite the prices they are still selling and buying.

I don’t necessarily agree with the price hikes, but I have used them and will do so again.

Thought it would be another interesting exercise to see what WF would pay for a basically brand new SD43.

Holy mother of cheese spread - they offered 7,350 GBP for a SD43 when they're selling for 11,750 GBP or more.

I’m not a fan of WF, the stock is over priced and in the flesh some of the stock seems well battered some times.

Was in WF once and saw someone from another grey dealer that I recognised trying to flip them a watch, pure comedy gold.

Not even retail now, boy they hate flippers as much as Rolex now. Could turn out to be Rolex's best friend so a dangerous greedy game...
