Lots of “collectbale” references there.

Out of curiousity, how quickly are these selling at these prices

Cannot blame the retailers for trying to make money and feed the hype.

Look how many threads there are here each day asking about what watch will be collectible in the future and which watch will go up the most in value in the future.

i have no idea why that store would list RRP next to "our price" for that BLNR.

Yes, we know we are getting screwed, but thanks for the extra reminder

I disagree, just go in to the store and you'll see how fast they "collect" your money.

I give them credit for that at least, most keep quiet when they are gouging your eyes out.

This is in line with Watchfinder pricing who set the market here so have to assume these will still sell... until Basel at least.

yeah i was at my AD this morning and told them i would buy at hypothetical Rolex diver on Oysterflex. Express interest early is the name of the game here. Probably the only SS i would be in the market for any way, so under the 2 watch limit

They would not confirm or deny the new Rolex rules that we have been discussing. However they did confirm losing AP status at the end of the year. Since they didn't deny the Rolex rules and because the didn't look at me like i was crazy , im taking that as a non-confirmation, confirmation.

What? You didn't mine them yourself for a few hundred $$$, or buy when it was on par with GLD? It's still "bonus season" to many people worldwide.

The Sky Dweller and the BLNR have been there for a couple of weeks. Can't say I'm surprised - there's another (and much better) grey 2 minutes away that prices worn but mint BLNRs at a fair bit less.

THey also had a black dial 116520 at £13,995 ($19,300) !

Crazy - isn't it. At today's rates the Sky D is $22,000 and the BLNR is $12,400.

Its probably a little high for a black dial Sky D - watchfinder have white dial BNIB for £13,995 and a mint blue for £16,150. MRSP is £10,600.

As Ken has said, its wrong (an old style box). Not surprising with that retailer and they've probably mixed the boxes up with another reference.

Remember the UK culture isn't one in which haggling over price and asking for a discount is common and many people won't even bother to ask for a discount, simply paying the asking price.

They'll sit there until they sell as that retailer doesn't particularly entertain discounts.

Its also pretty much the going rate these days over here.

Yet these two beauties are available for £7,500 and £7,300 about 50 yards (and a few flights of stairs) away.

Makes them seem like great value!

I was chatting to Martin and Jonathan the other day about the £8,995 BLNR "downstairs", and they were joking that they might need to put their prices up

Buying from WF your opening offer should be -20% and settle on about -15%

If I knew that a pre-owned BLNR can fetch £7,500.00, I would sell it when I was in London then.
