So people who have been priced out of the Tudor market have something to aspire to.

Because you wouldn’t make your kids live in separate houses either
They are both the same. One is more shiny and sparkly than the other. Just like cars. Same underneath but slap on some chrome bits and put some stitching on the leather and voila, premium price tag And while we are on this subject anyone who proclaims Tudor is the poor mans Rolex and that nothing comes close to the “crown”, should be banned. This is not a forum for people interested solely in status. |

I am here to learn and enjoy the forum for the good stuff it presents. Sometimes that means ignoring certain issues.

Both great watches, both worthy of wrist time.

In my humble collection I have both Rolex and Tudor I enjoy both of them. I enjoy the craftsmanship, history, lineage, of both. I owned Rolex first then through TRF I learned much about Tudor. It peaked my interest and I went on a bender seeking Tudor info. Then I purchased my first Tudor the Pelagos Blue. Next the GMT and now considering the BB58 Blue going to go see it at AD tomorrow. So in short these brands are intertwined and should remain so here.

After 11 years what a silly way to get banned.

If you remove the Tudors from this forum I will have no place to vent about snowflake hands.

TOTALLY AGREE.
Tudor should have its own Sub-Forum. Frankly getting tired of the barrage of “Tudor” posts and incomings. As a huge Rolex watch fan, I have no interest whatsoever in the Tudor brand. |

Why don't we get rid of the Vintage section. People here have both old and new watches.

I've looked through the first two busy pages here.. I only found a half dozen Tudor threads.
Not sure I see a reason to banish Tudor from the Rolex part of the Forum, as if it was a hidden secret that we couldn't discuss in the open. They have always been part of the Rolex Oyster line of products. tudormain.jpg

Strange thread.
Some observations... Drunk posting is bad. Some people don’t seem to understand how to skim topics to find ones that they want to read on a forum. I like seeing the Tudor content. If it’s actually annoying, perhaps some introspection is in order. I’m annoyed at the mods for banning him as now we will never know how to find his precious metals only Rolex forum! Like the Ferrari owners forum, proof of ownership required. Chill out, you’ll live longer. I’ll tell Steve how to run the forum when he asks, which will almost certainly be never. Won’t miss the OP. Delusions of grandeur, trans jokes, first world problems, elitism, etc.

It's a strange quirk of the forums, but eventually you'll get used to it.

Maybe they should because my AD only carries Rolex and that toxic Tag Heuer sludge. I would rather buy a Tudor every day of the week, twice on sundays than those miserable Tag pretending to be something they are not.

Tudor is what Rolex used to be, which is why they have a titanium tool watch and Rolex doesn't. Rolex is the brand for overpriced trinkets.
Of course I own both because I enjoy both tool watches and overpriced trinkets :) |
