Why Do We Mix Rolex and Tudor Here?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have a separate Tudor section? Its really not a Rolex in the full sense. All these Tudor posts are starting to get me annoyed.

Geeze relax They're practically joined at the hip. A Tudor site would be nothing but Black Bays.

Many of us (me included) have been asking for a separate Tudor forum for years. So far they won't budge. I think although they are related, they are still two separate and distinct brands so I would love for Rolex and Tudor to each have their own subforums.

There’s a lot of overlap really so I don’t see the point. Hell, there’s a ton of redundancy in having a vintage sub forum, which really serves as a way to store specific vintage knowledge.

I think you find some members who are Rolex enthusiasts not interested in Tudor.
A separate forum would make sense.

I actually like them both in the same spot. No need to open two different sections to peruse threads on such closely-related brands.

Own both, love both - way more similar than different; in my opinion, if you don't like a certain thread, skip it.

X2. Tudor is strong enough to hold up its own section of the forum. I think it’s kind of a disservice not letting Tudor break away from under the safety net of association with Rolex. At no time do you ever see a Tudor watch in a Rolex catalog and that should be reason enough for Tudor to survive on its own. Current forum format is like keeping VW and Audi in the same forum section. It makes no demographic sense.

Simple answer if they are annoying you dont read any Tudor posts end of story.
Tudor are rightfully part of Rolex so in the Rolex Tudor forum,if you dont like this, then you are free to leave the forum its your choice.

Or Maybe start a new Rolex only Forum? You got me thinking now. I'm guessing its some sort of Rolex subsidy and mandate that's keeping this from happening here. No other logical explanation strong words like the above are always about money.

The large thread detailing TRF members who own & enjoy both brands renders this argument moot.

Maybe you should start your own forum.

Personally I'm glad they blend the two. I get to learn more abut Tudor this way.

I have owned both and enjoy reading about both. I enjoy reading and looking at others watches irrespective of the brand so I can’t say it bothers me too much.

I think it’s only a problem in a year such as this with no releases and then Tudor getting a few days worth of attention. It will blow over....

Leave things just the way they are. Tudor and Rolex belong together.

Never having been a fan of the hands on the Tudors, I usually pass on the Tudor threads. Having them here is fine with me. I am sure they are fine watches.

Gotta love people who get annoyed with content on an Internet forum they can avoid by, you know, just not clicking on it. Good luck with your new forum, buddy. I'm sure it will take off like a rocket.

The brands are different but the same. Interlinked history and I believe they should be together for a well rounded Forum.
