My wife is a jewelry WIS, so JIS? Anyway, according to her it is a perfectly acceptable practice. OBTW, it's what I am wearing also, SS Rolex and gold wedding band.

I went with Plat/18k YG for my wedding band in '04. I was rotating between a YG DD and SS DJ. Still looks great with any watch.

I Wouldn’t worry about it one bit. I have the same setup and I have never even thought about the metals clashing!!

It's fine. They made TT watches for a reason. And because of the distance from your watch it isn't even remotely a TT image. Wear it with pride. It's from your dad.

Got married. Gold ring with SS watch, anyone else?

Hi

Congratulations on your wedding!

I love your tattoos by the way.

Now, re the combo, remember, LOTS of watch manufacturers and high end jewellers actually do have the white gold/yellow gold combo... so SS and yellow gold are absolutely ok.

So, I think you’re fine. And you clearly have a lovely dad. X

It’s gold. Whenever I look down I feel like it clashes with a SS watch. Does anyone else rock a gold wedding band / SS piece?

Maybe I’m just not used to it yet, but like the look of it way better without the watch on.

(Maybe its time to upgrade to PM lol)

P.s please leave out the negative comments about the ink lol

Chill. It looks fine. Until 20 years ago, all wedding bands were yellow and most watches were stainless. Nobody called the fashion police.

Also you need to accept that the pepsi is a sports watch and you may lust for a yellow gold dress watch for the few days such things might matter, like weddings and funerals.

Feelings are above a watch or a ring to match.

Use them and enjoy them in good health

Just my 0.02 worth, but having your colourful tattoo there in the mix, doesn't really make any difference on what color your wedding ring is.

I have a white gold wedding band and wear any watch with it.... two tone, stainless, and even rose gold. Nobody has ever said anything about it unless it's a compliment on one peice or the other.

On my wedding i opted for platinum marriage band, works perfectly with my SS watch.

Platinum wedding here too! At least can say wear platinum jewerly every day

The ring my wife put on my finger when we were married, supersedes the “hue” of a watch. Period.

Mine happens to be white gold, yet I wear it just the same with any watch I wear.

Agree. Plus I don't think there is anything wrong with a gold band and SS watch.

Looks like a great combo to me and the ink looks awesome too!

It might clash more IMHO if it were the other way around. Gold watch and WG ring. I would leave it as is.

Congratulations! You are worried that looking at your wrist, one notices the contrast between the gold ring and the SS watch? 🙄
