Learning about "grail" watches and how people see them has been awesome! Great thread!
I don't think I've decided on a grail, but the next few watches that I'll be getting are as follows: 1 - a YG daytona white dial lume markers -- I've always wanted this since I was 19, so it would be the closest thing to qualify for my grail and it's why it's what I'm saving up for now. 2 - SS Datejust Dome Oyster, for more casual settings. 3 - WG Sub c blue - this watch is downright sexy and I have to have it. I hope to span the purchases out over a few years to enjoy each piece as it becomes mine and I associate good times with the watches. Maybe when I'm older I'll decide on my end-all-only-one grail that'd I'd want to be wearing at the Second Coming! |

WG DD with the waves dial....mmmm.
(picture borrowed from paverman) That's my grail...certainly won't be my next watch...hopefully I'll have the opportunity to own one someday, but who really knows? I'm sure I wouldn't mind a GMT while I save up |

I'm pretty happy with my Sub-c LV. I honestly never get tired of looking at it and wear it often. Prior to that it was the WG Sub-c Blue (aka smurf blue), but wearing both at the store, I really like mine. My other watches don't see much wrist time since. Cheers.

I'm torn, yellow gold DD, except I hate PCL's. Therefore, likely the white gold blue sub. But wait, that has PCL's too, right?

My realistic grail was a Ss daytona with a white dial but that went out the window last week when I bought it. But for now if I could insist on another one it would be a Philip Pateke Grand complications.

My obtainable grail (might sell a piece to help fund it though):
And my unobtainable (would need to sell the apartment to get it): |
