Do you get surprised....

When someone wearing a Rolex doesn't know what model they own? I was working with a gentleman today and I noticed a glimmer of steel coming from his watch.

I glanced and immediately thought it was either a Datejust or an Airking. When I asked him which model it was, he said he didn't know "Its a Rolex", he said. I then asked for me to get a better look so I could tell him, the face said "Date", had stick markers and was a blue-silver color.

Does this sound like a legit Rolex? I'm surprised he didn't know the model, and I've heard of "Datejust" and a "Day-Date" but I've never heard of a "Date" model (but then again, I am a Rolex Novice).
