Here you go, my circa 1940 British military pocket watch. The "B" designates backup, meant to be carried in a holder in a vehicle or vessel as a backup to a wrist watch.

My pilot Lemania from 1935 (in 1936 were these watches made service watch of German Luftwaffe, later they were adopted by Czechoslovakian Airforce and Lemania, Eterna and Longines were used till 1989!

)

These particular watch were used in Czechoslovakian army, engraving on the back is in translation "Property of military affairs", these watch were issued and at the end of the military service the particular soldier had to gave them back. Some of those watches got out of the army in 1938 and 1939 when Czechoslovakian pilots went fighting abroad againts nazis (but those were mainly Longines watches)...

They are quit big for a vintage - 38x51mm, SS case, incablock shock protection, they still run pretty accurate (+ - 6s a day)

And now they are my everyday watches!

They belong to the British army, I just account for them.
