Another Oysterquartz for my humble collection

Scored this mint, pre-certification 17000 DJ Oysterquartz Mark-1 5035 on Ebay last week. Anyone interested in knowing more about the 17000 pre-cert here's a LINK for more info.

I saw it there the previous time it was offered but didn't move on it, but this time I looked carefully and thought it looked exceptionally clean for a Buy it Now price of $2070. It was one of those Make Offer listing so I started out well below the asking price until I got to $1800 and it was mine.

Always skeptical of watch dealers on Ebay I was reassured that it came with a 3-day return guarantee. I paid with PayPal at around noon and the watch was in my hands the next day before 10 a.m. Free FedEx Priority Overnight was included in the price.

After taking two days to check it out I must say I feel like I got a beautiful (and relatively rare) timepiece to add to my modest collection of obscure and under-appreciated Rolex's. Purchased from interwatches.

Life is good… have fun.

Great pickup Woody. Love the clean dial on the pre-certs.

Can you post a pic with all your OysterQuartz'es together? I really like those.
