Strap changing just got sooo much easier with the pam 233 with the new IWC (I believe) design pop out pins.

233 on a Gabo

Very cool Mike, but how does the quick release work? You push the button and does the pin automatically pop off? In what direction? Any risk of scratching the case?

BTW, Shane's straps aren't my cuppa, but the quality is unsurpassed.

Actually the tool splits into two pieces, one to push the button and the other to push the pin out but I find if you have the watch on an angle the pin slides out easily. The pin pushes away from the lug with the button on it. The tool is hard rubber so I would say slim to zero chance of scratching the case.

I must say the Delaurian didn't stay on the 233 long although extremely well made doesn't compare to the Gabo or Strap Culture for comfort.

Very cool mechanism. I wonder if this will eventually trickle down across the line? As for the SC straps, mine impresses me more each time I have it on.
