MakTime aviator chronograph arrived today

My MakTime aviator chronograph arrived today. I got excellent service from an ebay seller in Moscow. It only took 8 days in transit.

My first impressions were positive. The watch has excellent detail and a really quality feel to it. The leather strap is nice, but the gloss finish does not seem to fit, IMHO. I first tried it on a black NATO with brushed metal fittings and like the look. However, when I put it on a black matte finish alligator grain Di-Modell I found the look I wanted. The Di-Modell has a Hadley Roma brushed finish deployant and the fit and feel is just great.

I am sure I will enjoy wearing this Russian watch, my first, in my rotation. Cheers, Bill P.

Great find! I've gotten quite interested in Russian watches since I got my Aviator. Minimalist, utilitarian.

The watch does not have a display back. The movement is the Poljot 3133 manual movement. I think this will be an often worn watch. Cheers, Bill P.

Congrats, looks great.
I think the watch will go great with D-modell Jumbo too.

Ummm.... sunburst, this watch may very well look nice on a Di-Modell Jumbo. Here is the Jumbo on my Lum-Tec Combat B3. My Jumbo has a Hadley Roma deployant which I really like. I wish both watches had 22mm lugs as that is what my Lum-Tec has. Cheers, Bill P.

A Di Modell Chronissimo would look great, too.

Fantastic looking watch. Wear it well.
