Swamp in B&W
At the suggestion of someone on another forum, I decided to have another go at these pics in b&w. I'm a bit better at the conversions now than I was when I first took these shots (over 2 days standing out in that swamp), and I'm pleased with the look now.
It was the textures of the grass that drew me to this location in the first place. I think it works well in b&w. Cheers, Bruce |

Stunning photos, Bruce. Simply amazing!!! Thanks for posting these - its amazing how much detail is brought out in B&W photos. Ansel Adams' work is a great example.

I won't even bother to comment on the BKL's post. Just another example of wasted space.
But those B&W's are beautiful, Bruce. Monochrome is often more expressive than color IMO.
