Unfortunatelly the EXP has ZERO glow left so I can't do a lume shot.

For lume shots I shoot in in relatively dim light. NOT dark. Just dim. I take the camera's flash and fire it at the watch.
After that, I take the shot with about a 1 second or so exposure. That's it.

the dial shots are just crops at 100%, and the full watch is a scaled down version of the full shot. (25%)

I used a macro lens.

Truth is that I can get about three times closer than that but the paint imperfections were just too ugly lol

This is one of the reasons I don't like the white dialed ExpII. It's bad enough to cover white gold with black paint on the markers/hands, but the paint job is usually pretty bad when you look through a loupe. Like really bad.

Don't sell yourself short, my friend. As a former pro shooter, I can tell you you're better than a lot of guys I've shot with, and that's at Canada's largest newspaper. Your work is outstanding and you blow that other 'famous' or rather infamous guy out of the water.
