Greetings from So-Cal
Greetings,
I lurked for about two weeks before I joined and I joined only after picking up my GMTIIC a week ago. The GMT feature is useful for me since I have so many European customers, nice to look on the fly and see what time it is 'over there'. I own an aerospace instrument company that makes instruments for wind tunnels - I'll leave it at that for now... I do appreciate, and produce, special tools and my newly acquired Rolex is such one tool. The timepiece I wear the most is my Aerospace Avantage, the alarm has awoken my sleepy, jet-lagged a$$ in many countries - can't miss the meetings with clients. The countdown timer keeps track of the ovens when bonding operations or other important processes are being completed at work. Numerous golf courses have been attempted with the Breitling on my wrist. Just a nice all around tool. The other Breitling I have is a fun summer watch, yet I wonder why it is rated at a lower depth than my Rolex? 300m v. 100m The two Cartiers are for dress purposes, the Ballon Bleu is such a nice sublime piece. The Tag is a golf beater - looks nice though. I wear my timepieces during all activities, especially when I pilot an aircraft, except for one -I'll never play my drums with one on, it just doesn't work for me. Looking forward to learning more about Rolex's on this forum. Cheers! TS
