QUestion on my GMT Master Origin
Hi, There is a 3 digit code 580 stamped on the curved clasp. I didn't see this country code listed in the forum. The serial number is 93xxx. Any ideas where it was sold? Thanks.

The 580 refers to the endlinks of your bracelet and not a production date. we need your full serial # minus the last 2 numbers to date it correctly, the #'s you posted are short, but if its in the 9-million(93xxxxx) range then it would be around 1985-6.

Is the 93*** on the inside of the bracelet clasp,
or between the lugs of the watch case? |

As for it's origin..they are all made in Geneva, and just go out in the world where there is an order in for one. Rolex doesn't make too many "Market specific" models. The US is market specific, but the same watches come in and are then married up to US paper/tags/booklets.

Many thanks for the quick reply! The serial number minus the last 2 numbers are 931. It is stamped on one of the two curved pieces hidden under the fold over clasp.

That's not the serial #, but it's the bracelet model#. The serial# is located between the lugs at the 6 o'clock position and you must remove the bracelet to see it.
