New Rolex for New Year

To mark the resumption of my SCUBA diving after being 'hor's de combat' for a year or so I picked up this little beauty yesterday. I can't wait to get back under the water.
To start the PCL debate afresh, I'm sure that the polished centre links will not stop me diving or the watch working !

Sorry abot the quality of the pics but it's grey and overcast here.
Lastly, Happy New Year to you all for tomorrow

I'm not a Gold or two tone man but must admit that watch does look good and much prefer the Big case to prior model.

Enjoy...

Gorgeous!!! I happen to love me some PCLs. So they get scratched. Adds character to your watch and you can fix it at your next servicing. Congrats!!

X2 Fantastic watch Nathan! Sorry, but I can't tell from the pics, (probably just my terrible eyesight), is that a blue face or black?

I did my scuba training with the B.S.A.C. Dived for 2 years or so but eventually sold all my kit & went back to competitive shooting. I did a short dive when I was in the Phillpines last year. Nice to get under the water again. I did have a problem on ascent though, a real bad pain in my left jaw. Turned out to be trapped air under a tooth. VERY bad tooth ache for about 3 days. Great sport and I'll def. dive again.

Oh.......................................

Nice watch

Yes, I still have the TT YM and new clasp. It's stuck away in the safe for a spell though

By the way, how much did you pay for the new clasp and where did you get it from? I'm in dire need of either a GMTIIc or Daytona clasp

The TT can get away with PCL as they are more of a dress watch anyway, you can have all the TT subs you want with PCL want as long as they do not disgrace the legend and history of SS SUB 'TOOL' version of the watch with them. It would completely destroy the aesthetic of what is meant to look like a more industrial 'TOOL' watch and not some weird assed hybrid. They destroyed the more masculine aesthetic of GMT with PCL lets hope the don't destroy the legend of the SS SUB with gaudy PCL on what is meant to be and always has been awesome brushed steel. Give the TT all the PCL you can muster just leave the SS SUB brushed.
