Panerai Bezels?
Hi friends, just wondering if we can purchase the original bezel for our Panerai watches. I have my 312 in particular, due to my extreme fondness of it, I would like to wear it everyday..
However... I'm quite a wear and tear guy and sloppy, so I might bang and scratch it at some point of time if I frequently wear it... so I'm wondering if I can buy a spare bezel, in case at any point of time it gets ugly, I can just replace it... Also - can we fit other series bezel on different series of watch? Like a 220 to a 312 (bezel only)... and also, I thought of having a full brushed bezel will make the 312 quite unique... Any thoughts on this? Thanks. :) |

Just a regular service with Panerai.
If it is just scratched up, they'll buff it, else replace it. Standard service with Panerai is ~$500. Panerai won't just sell you an extra bezel in case you need it later.

Mfer - standard service with Panerai is ~$500 meaning it'll cover the cost of replacing as well if neccessary?

Don't worry about scratching it. Wear it as usual and when the time comes have it buffed out. As said Panerai won't sell just an extra bezel. The casing is complete different between the 220 and 312 and so is the bezel.

m_reign: Ah okay, cause I thought they're the same diameter, and the bezel "looks" the same, I know the casing overall is different entirely.. But well then okay, if there are knicks and knocks, how much would changing the bezel cost roughly?

Ah okay, that's quite pricey for a bezel...
would you suggest any after market bezels that can fit or will fit or is recommended? Since it's just a bezel, I reckon wouldn't be very different, would it? |

No after market bezels. Keep wearing your watch as is. I am sure scratches here and there won't bother you after a while. Even if it does, they can all be buffed out when you send your watch in for service. So enjoy your watch and don't worry about any potential scratches. If it is going to happen, it is going to happen, there is nothing you can do to prevent that.
