2 Watches Away from GTG?
ok you all,I saw something yesterday while I was at Legoland with the family (yes, I missed the Superbowl. On the flip side, there was NO ONE at the park).
While I was waiting in line for a ride I caught a glance of an oyster bracelet. Upon close inspection, the guy was wearing a Sub. Then I noticed on his other wrist was a PCL bracelet and it was a black dialed Daytona. Granted they are both iconic watches! But why two at the same time? I know this happens all the time at a WIS GTG. But at Legoland? I was too busy with my daughter to talk watches with the guy and I usually shy away from that in public. Just another interesting day at the park and watch watching. These were the only Rolex I saw on a slow day at Legoland. Did see one PAM 212.

The rule is if you don't watch Superbowl you must wear 2 watches for one week.
You missed the memo, now go put the other watch on. |

I guess there's a level of WIS-ness that is marked by wearing multiple watches.
It's curious how we notice watches in the wild. I was at Disneyland on New Years and saw a man with an early model Day Date. That was the only Rolex watch I saw at the park. Now whenever I got to Dim Sum, I can't count how many DateJusts I see. It seems like every 20th person has a DateJust. As an undergrade at USC, it was all Subbies. |

Guys Legoland is located right next to the GIA= Gemological Institute Of America...
with that being said...lots of Jewelers or diamond dealers or even watch/diamond dealers would comes to visit the GIA or San Diego for business and they bring the family... so the guy must be in the business...watch dealer/diamond dealer that came to town with a little of inventory and didn't want to leave it all at the hotel.... I Guess
