Aw, who am I kidding? Latest arrival....

I went with a friend to my local AD (always a dangerous thing!) so she could pick up another brand watch she had her eye on for a while....

You all know the story: While I was there I began looking and asking about a few of my "out in the ether" watches.

I know it's a piece that people either love or....have other feelings about! But I have always been a devotee of the Air King. The history, tradition, and simplicity have always held an appeal for me.

..My AD knows how to make me an offer I can't refuse and now I am the proud owner of my own new Air King!

Thought I'd say hi and check in my latest arrival...hope you enjoy the pics...I may try a review too after a little more time with her.

Looking at that watch on your wrist how can anyone say 34mm is too small for a man
It looks perfect and I bet (from my own experience with wearing 34-36mm watches) you will find that you wear it more than other watches!
Congratulations on owning one of my favorite Rolex's

Congratulations! Nice watch.

I almost fell for a SS YM during my last trip to the AD but my wife held me back and I was saved ;)

Just a couple... and they're not the greatest quality. I need to borrow my fiances' camera for better shots. Being prior military (Air Force) I was DRAWN to the AK...they are my fav watches bar none!

I used to have an Air King , 34mm is a good size , just because a watch may be bigger at 40mm doesn't mean it's any better for it's larger size. Actually 34 to 36mm fits most mens wrist perfectly , you'ers by that way is sick!!

Coincidence!

When I went to my local AD last week they gave me a copy of the 2010 Rolex catalogue - a fabulous publication with some great photography - and I noticed when reading it afterwards this model Air king and thought it was rather different and a great dial. Coincidence for sure as I was unaware of that dial preciously. Looks super on your wrist too
