If I won the lotto...

Just kidding, this is my Uncle's vintage Day Date with a jubilee dial. Fantastic watch, beautiful dial. Let me know if you guys want to see more, there's a tridor, reversos, a Yacht Master and some Buchers, LeCoultres.

I just googled this one up, this is the ladies version:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=263602_263622

My watchmaker also had a tridor DJ, but those are the only two I have actually seen in real life.

Any idea how old the DJ is?

Is that the original dial?

I can't tell you how old it is, but I'm guessing 10+ years. He purchased this a while ago. It is the original dial, I've seen it before at my watchmaker's as well.

Strange that it has modern settings on an older dial?

You would think it had MIR settings on that dial?

Never the less, it's a gorgeous watch.

Not that important to me Kyle but I think it has added on diamonds.

Alright Leo, you are the diamond master. It's a possibility that he may have changed the dial in the past or he bought it like that, but I do not know. When did the style of the diamond markers change?

Don't remember exactly what year and Sweden - Finland starts soon so I don't have time to look it up.

Here you can see what I mean.

Tridors are actually quite rare and becoming a collectors piece, maybe you should try and keep that one to be a big brother for your explorer.

Ps. you take some excellents pictures, congrats

Kyle, you always take a good macro shots of timepieces! Talented skills you have there. I like the computer dial but solid gold is too "senior" for me!

Over here in Asia, its favoured among seniors, aging businessmen, gangsters, etc who wear solid gold Rolexs. Some part of Asia, you get yr hand chopped off in unsavoury places if you flaunt it...

Good pixs from you always
