Must say....
I'm new to this site, looking to become a Rolex owner (again). You all I find to be very helpful to a forum newbie like myself. I remember years ago, I went to a drum site, when I was setting up an old drum set I had as a kid. Course I haven't found time to play them, but that's a whole other story. On that site, the members bent over backwards to be helpful in my search for an obscure drum part or two. While I'm not in an economic postition to collect many Rolex's as many of you seem to do -- Jealous, anyone? -- it's very cool to read the posts here in my head scratching search to choose the one and only Rolex that I hope to buy in the upcoming months. Thanks again.

Welcome to TRF and the insanity! Oh, and good luck choosing only one Rolex - that seems like an impossible task for most of us!

Seriously -- That's just it. Like asking George Clooney to just date ONE woman....Maybe a bad analogy, who knows....My past watch was a TT DJ and I loved it, till the crappy ass plastic crystal kept getting scratched every 48 seconds....I think it's DJ time, for my price range, question is SS or TT? I'm afraid I'd regret getting the SS.

I don't think it is that difficult to choose one Rolex...now, anyway. I didnt think I would be able to just have one based on my track record with other watch brands. Once I put the no-date Sub on...that was it for me. I have had it 9 months now and I have no need for another watch. If you're thinking twice about the SS then I say don't do it. You will most likely end up flipping it. Get what you want right off the bat. Now if only I could follow my own advice...

Ok, I'm new remember, but "no date"? Which model is that? I'm falling in love with the blue sub, with the TT bracelet. Lord help me. Damn, way out of my league money wise likely but it's very nice. May go see it today in person. Talk about self torture.

You really can't go wrong with the two iconic Rolexes, Sub and TT DJ.
