Kind of Dissapointed...

I had purchased a clasp from Steve Muholland, and a pair of brand new 502Ts from Tempoking. Looks fantastic, but the 502Ts just do not fit.

The distance is pretty minimal, but the angle just doesn't work. I'll keep trying, maybe I will bend a pair of springbars or something.

If you remember I told you about this in the pm I sent you.
Rolex UK told me that a decent watchmaker would be able to sort them out if you took in your watch and endlinks.

Maybe it just requires a strategic bend or two? If I had the right end pieces I'd send them to you, Kyle.
Hope you get it worked out soon.

Little buddy, don't you have a watchmaker close by.... time to stop in for a visit. If the fit is close he can probably move a little metal around.

Didn't a thread like this just get closed, come on guys, uneeded, let's not start it back up. He isn't having problems with the clasp which was provided by Steve.

Let's take a breather.

Not to get off topic but Steve's service was fantastic. No problems, everything turned out great! Except for the endlinks, but that's no one's fault.

It's Rolex fault, the endlinks don't fits.

Why don't you write Rolex a letter and complain? Just tell them your age and you still wait for your beard to grow.
I'm pretty sure they will send you a Supe Jubilee for free.

Just emailed Manhattan Time Service with a question, hopefully they can give me a quote. My Explorer needs a refinishing anyway...

Kyle,

You may want to reassure those watching and posting on this thread that you are NOT upset, you are only expressing your disappointment in the fit!

(some people OVERREACT with what they read and go bonkers)

We all know Luis, another reason to just provide support and understanding for our friend and not sound alarms.

I know buddy, my rant was aimed more at Carlitos.
I wish I had a more valid response otherwise, but alas, I am not a watchmaker, but I'm glad he called

Good luck Kyle

Carlitos said nothing wrong, was merely stating that life has disappointments, (and that it does). Don't read into things that aren't there.

No one here needs defending; Kyle, Carlitos, you nor I. That is how many of these threads get blown up.

I'm buying drinks for everyone, just relax and don't worry about defending anyone but yourself.

If you'd like PM me and we'll discuss in further detail.

Cheers! (it's a great Monday)

In a post of this nature I can't see why the sellers names needed to be mentioned in the first place. The fact is that people will make links in their mind - rightly or wrongly!

In any event, Kyle, I hope that the Watchmaker is able to help you.
Please show us pictures of the watch once it is up to your specs.
I hope it doesn't take long, you have waited long enough little buddy, cheers!
