OT - Mont Blac Pens

Ok, from the last post about Rolex and Pens, have determined need to buy a Mont Blanc and also want to buy some as gifts.

Anyone have a website they would recommend to order from?

Thanks, LP.

Now back to grinding the corners of my Sub down.

AAFES prices fro starwalkers

Metal /Rubber $279
Fountain $299
Fine Liner Ball point $209

Aafes does not always have the best prices, but if you buy at a store on a base in the US, there is no sales tax.

And I got my pen with a 20% coupon, total was about $220. On the outside, $358 plus tax.

I wrote with Mont Blancs for years...had a big fat cigar shaped one line the one you see Hitler and Stalin signing with in the war fottage. But once I shifted to both Waterman and Pelikan, I will never go back to Mont Blanc. First off, Pelikan has a fabulous warranty. Send them back forever and they come back brand new. I prefer the nibs, and have experienced less leakage. Waterman as well makes wonderful pens.

SO there you have it. I still have my 2 Mont Blanc fountains, but give Pelikan a try. You can sometimes get good buys through Levenger. I get my pens at Seattle Pen when I can. aws
