Looking for a picture of deep sea watch
I remember seeing a picture of a deep sea diving Rolex. If I remember correctly, it was from the 1940s or so. It was meant for very deep diving. I don't think it was a production model. Seems like the crystal was 3/4 inch thick. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone have a picture?
Thanks, Rob |

Yes, that's it. Upon surfing a little more I found a topic about it.

Only 7 were made, but never sold. Used for testing and publicity only.

Is this the "Lloyd Bridges" ad you were referring to?

On both counts, why do you think JJ's such a big Rolex fan?
