Icon4 ROLEX.COM confirm new SS SUBc??

Hiya! I have noticed that if looking at the 16610 on the Rolex site they have added same info about the watch like the TT Subs has, Ceramic Disc, new clasp.

After basel all they have to do is change watch in picture and they are homefree

They've been doing this for ages, it bears no relation to the actual watch they're displaying.

Possibly, it might be worth it to take a screen shot or otherwise document all of the models on the site now, and then compare it the models after basel to see what changes are made if any.

I think the ceramic bezel and "maxi case" relates to non steel watches, right?

Isnt Rolex infamous for using non matching photos and descriptions in some ads? Im not saying that it isnt true, just that I think rolex has been known to mix the advertisting campaigns up using photos and description that do not necessarily belong together. Case and point the datejust ii/super jubilee thread seen here: http://rolexforums.com/showthread.ph...=super+jubilee

Nice catch. I can't wait to see it. Another forum says 2011 launch with stock showing up in late 2011. Who knows?

I think the ceramic bezels are a brilliant improvement, as is the new Oyster bracelet with the Glidelock. The watches look great and wear much more comfortably than before.

x2! It's a classic and shouldn't be fooled around with....
Also, aren't there more than a couple of threads about TRF members having issues/breakage on the ceramic bezel? Besides being fade-resistant, I dont see what the big improvement is...

Actually, that arrow pointing to the ceramic bezel is just a section of stories about the evolution of the Submariner. If you click the details tab you will see the Black SS still says; black rotatable bezel and fliplock clasp. The TT Bluesy says; blue ceramic rotatable and oyster with glidelock clasp. We'll see what happens next week. A beautiful watch with or without the ceramic bezel, hopefully no PCL though!!!

Rolex confirmed at last year's Baselworld that a ceramic-bezeled SS Sub would be released this year.

X3. I don't like the idea of the ceramic bezel but agree with the bracelet upgrades.

Having just picked up a new TT sub there are improvements that I wish my LV would have....solid links on the bracelet, improved clasp with glidelock and ceramic bezel. The chunkier case is not an improvement IMO. The LV case size is perfect and I will def not be trading "up" to the new SS sub.

Website has been exactly like that for at least six weeks (last time I checked). The Ceramic bezel info has been there because of the AG/TT models.
