Opinions needed
I am going to surprise my wife with a Rolex while we are away on vacation. Do you feel that a Air King on an Oyster bracelet is too masculine for a woman? My wife likes a bigger watch but prefers a feminine look. What do your wives or girlfriends wear? Any advice will be appreciated.

Have you thought about the SS "Oyster Perpetual No Date"? They come in 3 diameters...26, 31 & 36...they have colored dials & colored indices, they come on SS oyster bracelets, an option to the Air King.

My GF wears a A/K for work and a Mid Size SS/Plat YM when not at work. She loves the bigger size watch and she has very small wrists.

My wife wears a midsize SS/Plat YM and absolutely LOVES it! She really prefers the midsize watches to the full-on ladies sizes. And not only that, but it looks great on her!

That is the exact one I was going to recommend. It is on my wish list for sure.. Another idea is the TT YM with the MOP dial and ruby markers....drool.

This is great. i appreciate all of the suggestions. If anyone has pics, that would be great also. My wife is smaller and has thin wrists, so I am hoping the larger watch does not look odd on her small wrists.

Even with thin wrists, your wife might be happy with this because many women are wearing larger watches these days!

My wife is petite but also likes over-sized watches. for her, a midsize datejust would be perfect. But she always warns me that she doesn't want a Rolex...Ok fine!

I kind of figured if I gave her an air king and she didnt like it or want it, I would have an air king for me...

My wife loves her Ebel MP watch. I tried to get her to change her mind and come to the "dark side of the Rolex Force" to no avail.
Take her on a play date and check out watches. "Watch" her eyes and the one that makes her smile the most, is the one you should get her. Here's my wife's Ebel.

Okay, I love and want only self-winding automatics. However, my wife did not like the Ladies TT DJ she had years ago. Many women don't move around enough to keep their autos powered up. She now has a Raymond Weil Tango quartz and absolutely loves it. Now you might want to go better quality than Raymond Weil, but nonetheless you may wish to consider a very, very nice quartz. Just my

My wife wears a Rolex "Date" in 26mm. I think the smaller Rolexes look nice on a woman's wrist.
