WTT: U series 1997 16610 and 4K serial 1964 7928 Submariner
OK, here's what I'm looking to do...
I have a very nice 16610 Sub Date recently serviced in Nov. Has box service papers and the bracelet has all links. This Sub is 100% original with matching Oyster Band. A beautiful classic Sub just starting to develop some nice patina. Trade value for me on this is $4K. Also included in this trade deal is a gorgeous 7928 Tudor Rose Sub. I bought this Sub not too long ago and had some problems with the seller which because of that I had to have a complete overhaul done on the watch. The service price for this overhaul was €180 about $250 USD. The watch is now in perfect condition. It comes with the .380 Cal. movement and is now running strong. The dial is not in original condition and was refinished by ND Trading. It has aged lume on both the dial and hands. I installed a C&I Stretch Oyster Bracelet on it. The bracelet is dated 71. I will also include a Zulu Nato Band. Trade value for me on this watch is $3.3K Neither one of these watches will need another service for the next 5 years. Total trade value $7.3K OK, now, here is what I would like to trade for these watches. I'm looking for a nice clean 5512 or maybe an early 5513 preferably all original but not a deal breaker. The watch must have a period bracelet as well...As long as the watch has had a service in the last couple of years and can be proved is fine with me, I just don't want to send it in to get a service as soon as I get it. I am located in Spain but can use the FPO military system so customs should not be a problem. PM me if you have something I might like. Here are the pics....I have more pics on request if you are serious about the trade. |

This is a pretty good deal I think, the offer is still available, both watches are in superb condition and just serviced with all appropriate documentation to prove it. I only want one vintage Rolex Sub, hence the trade offer. You'll be hard pressed to find a pair like these together. remember the 16610 is 100% original and comes with box papers and all links, matching band recently serviced and the 7928 from 1964 is simply stunning. Have you seen the prices of both of these lately. Trades only please, 5512 or early 5513 or even a nice 1680 no WG surrounds please early matte dials only. I will entertain all serious trade offers. Patina preferred but not necessary. Thanks.
