Great weather!

We are having our labour day weekend, and those in the US are. Sat outside with a Tim's this afternoon and decided to take some shots.

The devil was out as well:

He likes to wander, but we keep a close eye on him or he's gone!

You see we had our driveway recoated last week - still shiny!

And the wife was kicking back as well:

Great weather at mid-20's, and the last long weekend of summer.

Lovely pics, Al.

We too are having some fabulous weather with all promises of a very early Spring this year.

Cheers - JJ

I understand the weather at home (in DC) is spectacular. Unfortunately, here in South Florida, we have had a fair amount of rain. Today was supposed to be a beach day, but it rained all morning. We're supposed to some rain off and on for the rest of the weekend. But, you know what, I don't really care. It's just great to come here and relax.

This place was probably the best investment I have made. Not only has it trebled in value in the 6 years we've owned, it's a great getaway place. If it weren't for the security issues at the airports, the trip would be no more than 3 1/2 hours door to door. With security, it's about 4 1/2 hours. Still not too bad, considering.

It was a "he" but now it's an "it".

Yes, he is a character!

Lousy Weather - Great Views

Here are some shots off the balcony of our apartment in Boca where we are at this moment. The weather isn't great, but you can't beat the view.

Looking North

Looking due East

Looking South

Pretty much non-existent. I'm not a fisherman, but I've never seen anyone surf fishing off the beach. I see small boats anchored or drifting off shore, but I think they are used as snorkel bases rather than as fishing platforms. There's good deep sea fishing off the coast and there are plenty of fishing boats that go out of the inlet every day (you see the end of the inlet channel jutting out in the center of the North looking shot) but they head pretty far out to sea to go for the big ones.
