a 1979 DID NOT have dual front disc brakes. The bike is obviously a recent build from the new Triumph co. Why make up something like age of your scooter??

Well he might have modded the front end with different forks and twin discs.............just saying you can make a point without being insulting or abusive.

Having owned a 1958 (Triton), a Tiger cub, a 1964 350 bathtub and a 1968 Triumph Bonnie a front brake mod would be a good mod.

matched pair of ap racing alloy calipers. i cut most of the fins off to make them look nicer. 1980 td fork leg. pics will blow up to quite a big size. johny.

Here is a pix of my old Triton. T6 in a Norton featherbed with 750 nikasil barrels and pistons. Most of the running gear came from Unity in England.

Old Triumphs are one of the few things that will make me forget about watches. Beautiful bike!!! I have a 69 TR6R (Tiger) in boxes at a friend's house. PS, nice watch too!!!

An all to common ocurrance I'm afraid. Many moons ago in a distant land I located a running but very tired Tiger for sale. I bought it thinking I'd restore it. Even bought a million dollars worth of Snap On British Standard tools. I took her all apart and slowly began to restore her. You guessed the rest. Never got around to finishing her up so I gave her to a friend who has more mechanical ability in his pinkey than I have in my entire body. So, she has a good home and will be on the road someday..Sniff Sniff...PS, I have my Harley to get me around to watch meets...

It is enjoyable to see a vintage motorcycle in such excellent condition, the motorcycle looks like a museum piece. You must spend time and money keeping the motorcycle in that like new condition status. I remember that motorcycle when it first came out, it was and still is a most exquisite motorcycle.
