Thanks guys.

For people who are well versed about this watch, how many carats of stones are on the dial and what clarity are the diamonds? From what I have read online, the diamonds are flawless but couldn't find an exact carat weight.

Thanks. I chose the watch because I needed a smaller, more elegant dress watch. My other two watches are a Breitling Navitimer and a Omega Seamaster so i wanted something I could wear out on the town or just generally whenever I dress nice. In my situation, you can't really go wrong with a 36mm datejust with diamonds.

You will find yourself wearing it with anything and in every situation. My dad never takes his TT DJ off (I used to laugh seeing him wear it with jeans and a sweatshirt)... I cant see myself wearing anything else since I got my SS DJ.

Congrats on your first Rolex... again, great choice on a timeless classic
