On the waiting list for a New Ceramic Sub - got the call today from the AD

but unfortunatley the bloody sales assistant had added my name the waiting list for the current sub, not the ceramic.

Heart was in my mouth for a second.

It was a bit of a shock as I wasn't expecting a call until July at the earliest. I've been pondering buying a Porsche Cayman S for sometime now so i hope it arrives at the AD before that or my cash reserves will be seriously depleted.

You won't see a ceramic SS Sub until August at least.

I'm waiting for one myself.

That's classic! Hope they put you on the right list this time around, preferably moving you to the top!

So have you decided on the color for your Cayman S?

I'm thinking I'll get the sub this year and wait for the gen II cayman S to come into my budget. Used vales are strong in the uk -£30k sterling upwards forv a 4 year old car that would have been £50k sterling new from Porsche.

That's right---a 911 Carrera. Can't go wrong with a Cayman, though---mid-engined and super fun to drive! Feel free to get in touch when you get ready to buy and I'll be happy to comment on the vehicle and its specs. Also, best of luck on the wait for the new Sub. Hopefully, you're now at the top of the correct list!

Thanks for the advice. Cars (and now watches maybe) oh and clay shooting are my top passions. I've had a couple of Lotus Elise's and teh Cayman S is the next logical move. HAve started to consider Boxster S too as they are a few £k's cheaper in the UK than the Cayman's.

Sorry for your disappointment. But it's only a watch. Can I say that here? If you were on a waiting list for a kidney or a heart....that would be a different story...

you misunderstand the post.
1. I thought it was humourous
2. heart was in the mouth as i was going to have to spend £4.6k on a watch.

Lighten up a little.
