DD 8+2 Baguette or was 10 diamonds offered?

I have seen about a dozen DD that have 8+2 diamonds, and 2 baguettes (6 & 9) oclock position.

Recently I seen a DD pic with a jubilee dial but had 10 diamonds (meaning diamonds at 6 & 9 oclock, instead of baguettes (similar to the depiction of the setup on my DJ)

Plus I seen a DD at a store that had jubilee dial with the 8+2 configuration.

Did it come both ways?

Also is there a reason or any drawback to the "missing" Lettering on the DD with Jubilee dial? (only indicates "Rolex" on top, and "Day-Date" on bottom) no "Oyster perpetual date" on top, and "Superlative Chronometer Officialy Certified" below
