As requested, pics of the past collection for a new member!
As requested in my loctite thread below, here are pictures of some of the watches I've had and said goodbye to in my quest for the perfect lifetime daily wearer. Something nice enough to wear out, subtle enough to dress down, big enough to have some presence, but small enough to fit under the sleeves at work! The search continues...
Here they are from most recent to oldest! The AP ROO: Best damn looking watch I've ever had. Don't know why I sold it, but a real real beauty! The PAM 233, great movement, fun to wind every week with an amazing power reserve of over 9 days! Again, loved it! My D Pepsi GMT II, it started as a Coke, but always wanted a pepsi bezel, and baby it was sweet! Sold it to get the PAM 233. Here was the same watch with the coke bezel!: Traded the explorer II in for the GMT II. I liked the white dial, but the bezel didn't really do it for me. Also didn't have the serrated edges around the bezel that gives the sub and the GMT II that extra little shine that I found out I liked so much! The PAM 88, my first PAM, very fun, but sold it to move back into the Rolex! The Deep Sea, loved it loved it, the perfect Rolex. Couldn't fit it under my cuff, but as soon as it came out at Baselworld, I knew I had to have it! I miss this one. This is my LV, unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my first submariner that started the craze. I've gone through some Omega's in the past, have a tag as well for travel/work, etc...but I keep coming back to Rolex! One last collection pic: watch I miss the most?: Probably the 233 in retrospect |
