? on DateJust

So, I've noticed 2 different types of mechanisms, the case w/ the pin-holes and no holes.
When was the year Rolex started not having the bracelet holes on the case?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not exactly sure on the DJ... Sometime around 2000. Perhaps somebody could verify........

S series

My S series DJ doesn't have lug holes, they went into production from 1993.
