New submariner pictures .
Found these on the very friendly Rolex forum ( the one were we found shelter during the attack )
The OP tried it on at the the Paris presentation last week . ( I had an invite mailed to me at my old french address from Dubail on Place Vendome in Paris |

Very nice! Maybe it's the angle of the picture, but, with the supercase and maxidial it doesn't look that much smaller than the DSSD (thinner, though, obviously).
I'll try to get pix next week at the Paris show I was invited to. |

how come it doesn't look like ceramic bezel? the shine is different between DSSD and the sub.

There is another pic with a GMT II-C in it as well. That is the real comparison shot in my opinion. The new Sub-C looks like a beast compared to the GMT II-C. Not for mw. I'll be sticking with my classic Sub no doubt.

Looks great - even more 'supercased' than the GMT. I still think the GMT is prettier though
Cheers

Thanks for the extra pix! My first reaction is that the new Sub is going to take a LOT of sales from the GMT IIc (except for those that really want the 4th hand). The bezel is cleaner, with a nicer font, and the maxidial, while big, is not so exagerrated like on the GMT IIc.
Very much looking forward to seeing this in the flesh soon! |

The pics are taken at an angle, which has skewed the relative size & proportions of the watches. Would be nice to see a straight-on shot and also the profiles of all three.
Great to see some 'live' shots of the Sub C and its stablemates though - thanks Tristan Cheers

Thanks for the pics. They're confirmation to my eyes, that the Maxi-case regardless of the model, is not really for me.

Thanks very much for those shots!! All of them look nice...but I still love the GMT IIC...have to see the new sub in person to really decide.

I need to tell my boss about a pay raise soon...
The addiction to grab new rolex releases is certainly expensive! While the ceramic bezel on the new sub is not so clear due to the angle the photo was taken, I think the GMT IIc bezel looks the most impressive among the three. |

The Sub bezel looks more...muted? Vs. the GMTllC - not in this photo but in others I have seen.

I like the new Submariner..but that bracelet sure looks thin when paired with the maxi case.
