Do Rolex Concept Stores exist?

Hi all,

Do Rolex have any own stores? or is it just branded AD's? I can not recall that I ever seen an Rolex Concept store (i.e An official Rolex Store that only sell Rolex and possibly Tudor)

I have been in many large city's as NYC, Paris, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and a friend of mine in the watch industriy says that Rolex dont even have their own store in Switzerland?

Is this true?

A long time ago I was in Bangkok and there it was an store that to me looked like an Rolex exclusive store but I am not sure? Many AD's have large Rolex signs outside the shop and might look like a 'Rolex' shop but all I have been to sell other brands aswell?

Feedback please!

Yep, every major player has their own boutiques, several even.

Rolex and Tudor are without doubt KING (that's where the coronet comes in right ). Many stores ONLY sell this brand. Other brands just don't get a look in I suppose!

The IWC flagship store on Kowloon side is amazing though. Cheers,

You can Fine few Rolex Boutiques here in the US but they are not owned by Rolex...
South Coast Plaza has a Rolex Store that's called Rolex and sells nothing but Rolex watches but it's not owned by Rolex the Company...

Some of them are.. Rolex contracts a couple of well kown Dealers to operate the stores for them..

I followed Rolex concept for the South Coast Plaza store before they had bid out the operating contract... Now, it seems that when people see a jewelers name there under Rolex, they have the mistaken impression that the Jeweler owns the store... but they are only the contracted operator..

Even the branded stores are not owned by Rolex.
They are each owned and operated independently.

Watches of Switzerland have an exclusive Rolex Boutique on Bond Street in London. They also have a Patek Phillipe boutique. There are other barand boutiques on Bond Street - such as Omega and Breguet - but I believe those are owned by the watch companies in question, unlike the Rolex Boutique which is an AD franchise.

The South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa, CA) store is a Baron & Leeds operation - but exclusively Rolex.
