The forum reserves the right to make spot checks.
Please post photographs in the next 24 hours showing the 'papers' with an 'M' serial designation or other proof that this watch is a "M" serial e.g. a photo of between the lugs. Please note that failure to provide satisfactory material will result in issues with you posting any items for sale on this forum. Thank you

This is not an "M" serial.
There are no 'papers'. Sellers are required to ensure that the information they put in their sales is true and correct. It is no excuse to say you were told it was an "M" you must only say things which you know from your own personal knowledge to be true. As a result, please do not post any watches for sale on this web-site henceforth.

Well sir, I understand that But i was not familiar with Rolex brand , thats why when i get the watch i sent him to verification to a well known Jewerly here in Miami.
They certified his authenticity, and also i ask in the forum a member that he had experience on the brand and he told me his opinion and he help me a lot. After you ask me to remove the bracelet to find the info you want, because as you see in the picture i sent you via PM and was this one: I saw the M Serial on the label attached to the box , thats why my post and why after I do what you said I do the correction also do the correction on ebay and on one forum that Im member too. So the watch is K series as i know now in Rolex the serial numbers is on the case at the lugs. I really show my respect to all the members and moderators here, thats why i do the correction in my previous post, i have many references on ebay and many other forums and was not my intention to do anything bad. Thanks Nelson Devicenci |

Well guys, this is no more for sale here, because the admin said that my ASKING price is too high... I can't believe that, and My thread for sale has been removed from the sell section because i don't have PAPERS of the watch.
I saw many people posting threads there and NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES, and Me because of an error i can't post anymore there in my entire life.... HOW RUDE... I fix my error posting all the pictures and as i said before was not my intention to do something bad here. Well If this was Personal i don't care anymore I do this just for respect to all the members of this community. THanks Nelson Devicenci PS. This was my first really bad experience with Rolex. |

What was concerning was your lie that the watch was an "M" serial when it was an "K" serial. When you got caught out you then you made up stupid lies to try to justify why you stated it was an "M" serial. You are basically a know all know nothing liar. There are other lies which you have made but I'm not going to help you out by telling you so you can learn maybe next time how to be a smarter scammer.

There is a lesson here...
Almost all of the posters posts were made on 11 May, and within a span of only a few hours, then the watch was posted on 12 May........ Even though the account appears to be a year old, there is no evidence that this poster has been on TRF for more than 2 days - make sure that you do your research on any prospective seller........

TRF once again victim of it's own success . Unfortunately the wrong people find their way to here . So stay vigilant and do your "home work" before buying anything of the net even when it is on TRF .
It is still safer then on EBAY or Craigslist as you have the best watchdogs for Rolex and Tudor both new and vintage here , courtesy of Stan , Dave , Terry , John ,David and many others . You can enjoy the ever watching Mod's that will make spot checks on listings as soon they feel that there may be a need for it . All this can help a lot , but still it is your own vigilance that is the most important factor . Do not hesitate to ask questions to the seller , come and ask questions about it here on this section of the forum and ask for references . Let's thank Stevo , the mod's and all the member to make this the greatest forum on the planet ... and by reading some of the posts here I sometimes wonder if we do not count some extraterrestrials amongst our members. |

Relative newbie here, interested in buying a Platty Yacht Master - thank you so much for exercising the vigilence necessary to keep this site as honest as possible. As always, buyer beware, but I continue to get educated here as nowhere else - thank you.
