which submariner to pick??
I've discarded the idea of getting a Seadweller.
So tis afternoon went to a dealer to source for a submariner 16610 s/steel. And there were 3 variants for me to choose from : 1. brand new V series usd 5,700 2. a used with dial showing Swiss T <25 usd4,530 3. a used 16800 usd 5,400 i was told to get the 16800 which is more collectible and rare and the price is right. any suggestion which is the better one to pick and the prices ok ??

But... the modern Rolex version is also very nice ;-) As Larry said. Prices are high on 2 and 3, and since you have two modern Rolexes I would do what I did... check out recent vintage Tudors or a matte dialled 16800. Good luck! Best, A |

If the 16800 has a matt dial in nice condition that would be my choice. That price seems a bit strong though.
