Datejust & Omega Planet Ocean or GMT pepsi bezel

Thinking about selling my Y series pepsi bezel gmt in mint condition for funds to buy a Planet Ocean & white dial datejust. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

John

I have a D series Pepsi and Elec Blue Seamaster but I would never sell it for a PO and a DJ

I have a Pepsi and a PO. Both GREAT timepieces. However, the PO is my favorite watch. As such, I'd say go for it.

Plus, you have better versatility with selling the Pepsi. Ultimately, you'd have a sport watch with the PO and the Datejust when you want dressy.

What's the reason you'd make that choice? Plays a big part into whether or not you should.

As for me, I wouldn't. The GMT is more than the sum of the PO and DJ.

Shoot, grow old with the Pepsi GMT. It's one of the last old-school classic "professional" Rolexes, along with the recently-extinct Sea-Dweller and non-COSC Submariner ND.

If I'm honest, you can't go wrong with either decision - all three are superb watches in their own rights

Keep the GMT, you'll only end up looking to replace it a little further down the road

I'm assuming these are pre-loved examples? Pepsi wouldn't fund both new.....

Do you currently only wear the GMT? All 3 are great, and if you think you want more versality with a more dressy piece and a casual piece, why not?

Love the PO. Have one of my own. But it is a "sporty" watch like the GMT. Why not hang on to the GMT and just pick up the datejust for those dressier occasions?

Sounds like you like Omegas, what about a DeVille?
