I would take it to the AD and ask can't hurt.
Can you post a pic? I am wondering was it just the green insert or the whole bezal metal and all? |

If you can show that it was a manufacturers defect, they might cover it.

I believe you will be out of luck, and it will be necessary to purchase a new bezel

I'd bring it in anyway. Since bezels don't just fall off, there might be some structural defect.

Give it a try. All they can say is 'No"..and then you will have to pay out of pocket.

Lost bezel
I believe they will repair under warranty. Are we all mad here? You pay £4K for a watch and the bezel falls off under 'normal' use???? I would raise holy hell if any AD had the temerity to challenge this...
I've changed the bezel and insert on my LV for black and they do NOT just fall off. Takes a fair bit of pressure in the correct place. Cheers and good luck. A |

But over the past 2 years the watch could have had any number of misadventures - and heavy laundry (or gardening, rock climbing or almost any activity) could have caught the edge and pulled it off the same as putting a wedge under a corner... It is very unlikely that Rolex would agree that this was the result of any "manufacturing defect".

Larry could well be right and I guess it will depend on Rolex. I've had fabulous experiences with the Rolex Service Centre (Center for the US cousins!) in the UK (St James Square, London - a visit recommended if only for a chat and a couple of brochures!) and I'm pretty sure they would sort it!!

I've never had it happen to me, but there have been reports of the bezel comming off if caught just right. It's something that can happen with any bezel equipped watch.

wow, i have never heard of a bezel falling off like that before... if it was a defect, i would think rolex would have noticed being they have a great rep for quality control...
but i guess like with every company, sometimes odd things happen by mistake.. i know i'm real picky about my watches, but in 03 when i first got the LV when they launched and i paid above retail for it i noticed on the dial at the bottom by the "swiss made" there was a tiny scratch going through the bottom half of the "S" in "Swiss" i sent it back to rolex, even tho they saw the watch had never been opened and was brand new, they didnt do anything about it... so in this case, i would think the right thing to do would be fore rolex to replace your bezel free of charge but i dont think they will.. in my case, they prob saw the tiny scratch which can only be noticed under a 10x loop, they figured this little scratch does not restrict the watch from normal operation... so they didnt replace it as they didnt see it nessesary.. in your case they might think, since they prob never see bezels falling off, they will charge you for a new one.. which i think is unfair.. but i myself cannot wrap my head around how a bezel can just fall off... if it was a defect it would have happened much sooner i would think? also the pressure plate under the bezel holds it on so securley.. have em put a new one and if you ever find the old one, then you will have an extra, then order yourself a black insert and then it will be easier to swap bezels |

You may not be able to get one. They are like nazis when it comes to parts like the green bezels. Usually they want the damaged one BEFORE they will ship out the new one. The fact you don't have it well I dunno what will happen. Good luck man.
